The Weaver Email Lists
Hello Fellow Weaverettes,
The Weaver email discussion lists have been set up to promote the fellowship of, and offer support to, families using The Weaver Curriculum. Messages sent to any of the lists are automatically delivered to everyone who is a member of that list.
I have enjoyed getting to know everyone and feel greatly blessed by the many friendships I've made on these lists. I am your hostess and you can contact me with any questions you may have about the lists, the Unofficial Weaver Web pages, or The Weaver Curriculum.
The Weaver List, the Interlock List and the Weaver 7-12 List are places to ask questions, encourage each other, and share our stenghths and weaknesses with the Weaver. Places where the experienced "Weaverettes" can help the new Weaverettes. Along with discussing Weaver issues, we may also discuss unit studies that have branched off of Weaver units. We may also discuss math and phonics since the Weaver volumes do not include them. Please try to remember that the main list is for discussing Weaver topics.
Feel free to lurk for a few days or weeks to get to know the other ladies. When you are ready, just jump right in with an introduction of yourself and your family!
A few things to keep in mind when you post to the list:

Please avoid short, short messages, like "amen" or "I agree" or "ROTFLOL!". These types of messages should be sent privately to the person to whom you are responding.

Please do not quote the whole message in your replies. Only quote as much as is needed to continue the flow of conversation. Always delete headers and footers from original messages.

Please note the subject line before you hit the reply button. Sometimes the topics veer away from the original post. We need to remember to change the subject line if that is the case. There is a fair amount of e-mail generated on the Weaver list, and if the subject lines are labeled properly, it is easier to skip over messages that do not concern us.
If you have any problems with another list member, please contact me and I will be glad to act as mediator.
This Web site (which you are currently surfing) for Weaver users has TONS of valuable information. I try to keep it updated, but, like you, I am a homeschooling mom. If you know of something that should be posted here, please let me know.
I hope these lists and the Web site will be encouraging to you. May God richly bless you as you teach your children His ways.
